Marcy had a PET scan yesterday (Jan 24) and it was clear! She has been on chemo for a solid year…..She can now take a break from the chemo, and of course we are praying hard that it will be a loonnng break…..She has been such a trooper……insists on working part time (which sometimes comes close to full time) but we both agree that has been good therapy for her. Cancer is a crafty and snarky adversary, so she will of course be visiting the Doctor periodically to be sure all is still OK…
We would like to say a big “THANK YOU” to all of our family and friends for your prayers and support……PRAYER IS POWERFUL! Please continue your prayers for Marcy and that a permanent cure will be found in the near future…..
In other news, we will be embarking on another adventure soon…..We will drive to Omaha and visit with James and Kris, then hop on AMTRAK for a trip to Florida. We will be changing trains with a layover at Chicago and Washington DC on the way down and New York and Chicago on the way back….so we hope to see a little bit of each city if the weather is not too bad…stay tuned, I hope to post a trip report with lots of pictures as we travel……
